Barcelona vs Sampdoria Over 3.5
Reason: FC Barcelona have already played few matches in the preparing period and the match against Sampdoria will be their last preparing match before Spanish Super Cup first leg against Sevilla next week. Barca played three friendly matches so far and managed to beat Celtic 3-1 and Premier League champions Leicester City 4-2, while in the last match Liverpool smashed them 4-0. The last result was disappointing for Luis Enrique’ side and they want to win this game upfront their supporters. Barcelona bought two players for the upcoming season: Andre Gomes and Samuel Umtiti, and they both could make their debuts against Sampdoria.
Sampdoria will play the Coppa Italia match against Bassano Virtus at the weekend and this is their last friendly game before the new season start. They have already played few friendly matches and in the last one they lost against Malaga on penalties few days ago. Against FC Barcelona they will be fully motivated, but they know it will be hard for them to beat mighty Barca. However, they would be satisfied to hit the net, at least once. Sampdoria have already played against Barcelona friendly match four years ago and managed to beat them.
Without any doubt Barcelona are big favorites to win this trophy and they will try to do their best in order to win this game, especially after humiliated defeat against Liverpool. On the other side, Sampdoria have nothing to lose and they will be satisfied if they manage to hit the net. However, I expect interesting match between FC Barcelona vs Sampdoria and many goals in both nets with over 3.5 goals @ 1.73
